So, I bought myself a camera at the start of 2008 with the intention of taking up photography as a hobby, mostly Gig photography. I did a couple of gigs but didn’t have the right lenses for it so the camera got resigned to the shelf and just going to the gigs took over again.

Now this year I’m going to get some more suitable kit and go for it once more!

• Canon 400D

Current Lenses:

• 18-55mm Kit lens
• 50mm 1.8 MkII

I’m aiming to have the Canon 24-70 2.8L lens as my main lens for gigs, just wide enough on the crop, plenty long enough for mid-size gigs and nice and fast
